Photos were taken on the ship for the formal nights.
The day we spent at sea happened to be our 6th wedding anniversary. We started the day with a champagne brunch on the balcony off Rick and Cathy's room.
We spent one day at see, cruising north, up the east coast from New York city to Halifax, Nova Scotia.

In New York, we went to Pier 88 where we boarded our cruise ship, The Golden Princess.
Our last morning in New York: Shelby wanted to leave town in style.

We also got an up-close view of the Statue of Liberty at night.
It was a little cold out on the boat.
On our last night in New York, we took a harbor lights boat cruise. The building lit up red and white is the Empire State Building.
This is Belvedere Castle.
Here we are on top of Belvedere Castle, which overlooks Central Park.
Shelby enjoyed getting out and finally stretching her legs.
We let Shelby roam around at the Turtle Pond which is next to the Great Lawn. There were actually turtles in the pond, who knew?
Shelby spent some time feeding the ducks. A lady was there with bread for the ducks. She gave some to Shelby. After Shelby made two attempts to throw the bread in the water, she ate it herself.
We spent this morning in Central Park. This is the Jackie Kennedy Onasis Resevoir. Central Park is huge with lots of trees and several small lakes.

Here is the New York Stock Exchange. The area is mostly off limits to vehicle traffic. This is on Wall St. These streets are extremely narrow.
We went by the Police Musem again. The musuem is a converted old police station.
The ferry ride was free and gave us great photo opportunities.
On day three, we hopped on the subway and went south to Battery Park. We then caught the Staten Island Ferry for a closer view of the Statue of Liberty.
I'm sure glad that I've never had to drive a baby blue police car.
I never thought I'ld ever be on that side of the booking numbers!
